In 2000, when I was the designated broker at a small real estate firm in Iowa I read about this new EXIT concept and I knew that if I ever was able to open my own office, EXIT would be it. Now, seven years later we have a carefully sculptured office in Bend, Oregon. During agent interviews, I don't hold back regarding the opportunities recruiting brings to all EXIT agents. They come to this office for three reasons...it's simple, you can feel it, you can smell it. And you have to be blind not to see it.

Gregg Jones and Sabrina Jones-Schroeder bought the first Exit franchise in Spokane and opened as Exit Real Estate-Jones & Associates in December, 2004. We grew our first Exit office to 70 agents within a couple of years. In the spring of 2005, Don & Mary Guderjohn joined Exit. Don had a background as a recruiter and manager for one of the local Keller Williams offices. We then partnered with Don & Mary to open our second office in North Spokane. Don incubated this office within the first office until we were ready to open. In June, 2006, Exit Real Estate North opened with 19 sales representatives and has grown to 57 inside of one year. Sabrina then partnered with Leif & Tonya Tangvald to open our third office in the Spokane Valley. Leif has been incubating this third office in our original office (just like Don did) and has now opened with 10 agents. As of July 1, 2007 we have 145 sales representatives with EXIT Real Estate of Spokane.
